{"id":9233,"date":"2016-08-04T14:21:11","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T19:21:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phrdev.pixelpro.website\/novedades-categoria\/superintendency-corporations-determined-companies-mandated-adopt-compliance-programs\/"},"modified":"2020-10-26T12:28:25","modified_gmt":"2020-10-26T17:28:25","slug":"superintendency-corporations-determined-companies-mandated-adopt-compliance-programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phrlegal.pixelpro.one\/en\/superintendency-corporations-determined-companies-mandated-adopt-compliance-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"The Superintendency of Corporations determined the companies mandated to adopt Compliance Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On August 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2016 the Superintendency of Corporations issued Resolution 100-002657, which sets forth the companies mandated to adopt a Compliance Program in accordance with the provisions of Law 1778 of 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the resolution, the companies under supervision of the Superintendency of Corporations, which in the immediately preceding year had conducted, on a regular basis, businesses of any nature with foreign individuals or companies of public or private nature (\u201cInternational Businesses or Transactions\u201d), are mandated to adopt Compliance Programs, as long as:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Such International Businesses or Transactions had been conducted through intermediaries or contractors, or through subsidiaries or branches set up by such company in other countries; or<\/li>\n<li>Such  International Businesses or Transactions are related to one of the following sectors of the economy: pharmaceutical, infrastructure and construction, manufacturing, mining and energy, and technologies and communications.
