POSSE HERRERA RUIZ ADVISES SCOTIABANK IN THE SALE OF ITS MAJORITY STAKE IN AFP COLFONDOS<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Posse Herrera Ruiz<\/strong> acted as Colombian legal counsel to Scotiabank, in the sale of its stake in the Colombian company Colfondos S.A. Pensiones y Cesant\u00edas, equivalent to the 51% of the participation in the Colombian company\u2019s capital. Colfondos AFP is a main player in the sector of pension management in Colombia. The transaction also involves the sale of the 49% stake of Mercantil Colpatria in Colfondos AFP.<\/p>\n
